Jaws drop as O.J. goes free

Hitler takes his life and the world destroys his evil
Adolf Hitler took his own life in a German bunker in the final days of the Third Reich, but in many ways, he had already lost the battle. If Germany's fallen leader had gone into hiding, as many Nazis did in the aftermath of World War II, there is little doubt that the world would've closed in on him. If Hitler wound up facing a jury, there's no doubt that, like Adolf Eichmann, he would've been sentenced to death. Did Hitler escape his fate or hurry it along? Either way, his posthumous reputation is far too negative (the epitome of evil, some would say) to presume that this is the end result he had in mind when he put a bullet to his brain and cyanide in his body. |

Virginia Tech maniac generates hatred after death
Virginia Tech murderer Cho Seung-Hui sent a recording of his final hours to MSNBC and wound up posthumously addressing the nation.
