One Week of Art

Filed Under:

Daisuke Yamamoto directs this amazing time lapse video of Japanese artists creations. Working on a big wall, they paint it out and then start over.

The complexity that can sort out by juxtaposing simple elements always fascinated me: just think of the DNA, or the neural cells. Here, the elements are contributed by several different sources, artists with their very own unique creative process.

Also, you’d think that everything is happening in a couple of hours, instead of a week. Everything flows so smoooooothly.

It’s amazing how “organic” and consistent can be a work realized by such a variety of people
