It's
a universal tale about the search for the loved ones, thru the seven
seas and the four (five?) elements. With a reference to Ghostbusters... or Godzilla?
J Dilla (real name James Yancey) was an innovative and influential hip-hop artist. He died in February 2006, at only 32 years. The song will appear on the Chrome Children CD.
The clip was directed by Daniel Garcia, also producer of the whole series, and Mixtape Club (that is Chris Smith, Jesse Casey, and Michelle Higa), also animators.
The rest of the credits include the animation of Arthur Hur and Christopher Palazzo, for the 2D, and Jon Dorfman for the 3D; Kim Dulaney for the design; Josh Goodrich for the character design; Tavet Gillson for the storyboard.
Notably Chris Smith, Josh Goodrich and Tavet Gillson all worked on the video for Fortress.
