Sex in the City, The Movie?
There have been talks about making a Sex and the City movie for years but it’s never moved past the rumor mill.
For various reasons, including timing, script, and negotiations, the four actresses have never been open to a big screen version of the popular cable television show. Two years after the series ended, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are reportedly back at the bargaining table.
There have definitely been moments in my life when I stood frantic in my designer heels on the street corner of Manhattan, with more man drama than I knew how to deal with. And I took a second to realize “I feel like I’m in an episode of Sex in the City.” Any girl with a flare for fashion, a revolving door of men, or of a group of close girl friends has probably had this same epiphany.
According a report by OK! Magazine negotiations are now in full swing with the four original cast members and is expected to continue into the production stage .
Can they pull off a movie that reminds viewers of why they feel in love in the first place? Will they forget the years that have elapsed or will the brash, fashion-forward sexpots reminisce in a “where are they now?” adventure….
