Running Away
Realized in 2004, this animated short is the effort of one man. Sebastien Laban did almost everything, except the music.
Unfortunately he had to cut the story: the deadline (it was a graduate
movie) allowed him time to only finish the first half. Completion aside, this animated short is still a must-see.
The story was about the love between a boy, David, and a girl, Flavie. David left his house to meet his soulmate, but his father (not exactly a pauper) is doing everything in his power to break his wings.
The final result is awesome. Some details are not perfectly in place (never saw a kid with lips like those) but hey... Pobody's nerfect.WATCH (high res): Running Away
