If for some reason you need further convincing that the Web video business is going to get bigger and bigger, hedge fund manager Cody Willard is the guy to do it.

In a Financial Times column today, Willard gushes and gushes about the future of online video and all the money to be made from it -- not just from YouTube, but everywhere.

Today you turn on your cable box and have to filter through the hundreds of channels broadcasting video content to you. Even in the consumer-unfriendly format that limits your viewing options to what the powers-that-be choose to force into your living room, there are now hundreds of U.S. channels worth hundreds of billions of dollars in aggregate. So too will there be hundreds of video sites that will be worth hundreds of billions of dollars in aggregate as the wonders of innovation on the internet push us forward.
