The network's news video content will be distributed (with ads) via Brightcove's system to approved sites across the Web, including small and medium-sized sites and blogs, allowing Web publishers to embed CBS content directly on their sites.

A press release says the CBS News video player will include the latest clips from The CBS Evening News With Katie Couric, The Early
Show, and also additional video produced the network
exclusively for Web viewing. The video content is now available on AOL News, Comcast, YouTube, and Brightcove.com. A couple of quotes from the release:
