Last February, when SNL's Lazy Sunday still dominated the majority of YouTube's traffic, actor Mark Feurstein and friends Sam Friedlander and Adam Stein answered with the west coast response, entitled Lazy Monday. Lazy Monday wasn't as funny or imaginative as Lazy Sunday, but found its own share of success, and popularized a wholly new genre of online media -- the response video.

Nowadays, response videos are among the most popular on YouTube. Some of them gain nearly as much traffic as the originals, attaining their own distinguished popularity. Most recently, aspiring comedian/filmmaker Brandon Hardesty's video of making stupid faces into the camera has set off a string of responses, all of them crowding YouTube's most watched videos. The result has become somewhat of a video forum, with amateur filmmakers creating a dialogue through tape.

Best of this recent influx is this flirtatious gender response to SNL's Dick in a Box that reveals itself to be just as catchy, and according to our in-office response, more progressive and provocative. It hasn't surfaced who the anonymous sultry female is, but her tween-esque pipes and Christian-pop melody make this affair the kind of response you wish there was more of: complimentary, askew, and a little saltier.
