"Saw" Producers Break With Theaters, Unveil "Internet Killer" Online
According to Variety, "The Internet Killer," a feature film produced by Twisted Pictures, will premiere on Break.com in daily segments, each approximately three minutes in length. Unlike "Prom Queen" or "Sam Has 7 Friends," "Internet Killer" will be the first major movie project shot as a feature that will be distributed online in short Webisodes.
"We are making this just like any other feature," Twisted co-president Oren Koules told the trade paper. "It will probably be in theaters in some foreign markets. It will be on DVD and TV. The Internet will just be its first U.S. release."
The company hasn't yet selected a script or director, but hopes to be finished with the film by the end of the summer.
