Amsterdam-based animator Nick Fox-Gieg is currently enjoying YouTube fame with his darkly comic 1-year-old music video "I Wanna Be Famous." But in his latest film, "The Foxhole Manifesto" – a similarly sharp-witted animated piece, about God and its many uses and exploitations adapted from the work of slam-poet Jeffrey McDaniel – Fox-Gieg proves he's no one-hit wonder. In fact, the California Institute of the Arts grad has had short films shown at the Rotterdam and Ottawa film festivals, at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and on television in Canada, Israel and the Netherlands.
