New Studio 8 Sketch: Hell-O-Phone

Posted by Brock LaBorde

Studio 8 Friends and Families,

This week's new video is a sketch-like thingy called "Hell-O-Phone" in which Jesus and Satan battle over a semi-retarded young man's soul via his cell phone. You can watch it on our Reel or at the link below.

If and when you watch this sketch, be sure to note the state-of-the-art video game that the "Paul" character plays on his Nintendo Wii throughout the sketch. This game, currently entitled "Titty Pitty Pat", is currently being developed and/or under-developed by Studio 8's Brock and Jared to be released sometime in the next 40 years or so.

This was an easy sketch to shoot, but was a booger to edit, and everyone should give Jared a pitty-pat on the back for his fancy editing skillz.

Also, if you are in the Austin area, be sure to go see Chris Trew's show at Emo's on July 26th. He'll be performing his comedic rap songs as Terp 2 It and will be opening for the mega-huge rapper MC Chris, from Adult Swim's Sealab and Aqua Teen fame.

AND, give Terp's new album, "The Freshest Dude", a whirl if you haven't already. Here are the details on that:

On iTunes:

The disc:

Also available at the ColdTowne Theater and Waterloo Records in Austin, Tx and by check or paypal at Studio8.net!

We've got more news coming your way, but that should do it for this week. Thanks for being nice to us!

Peace out,

Brock

Funny video. Why don't you take us through the process of how the videogame was made...ya know, just for technical know-how....

Um, we just bought it at a Wal-Mart and plugged it in.

Seriously, though, I will reveal this secret in a couple days. It wasn't too difficult to create.

Thanks for looking at it!
