About a month or so have gone by since Zannel launched, and we are cranking out more user features a lot faster than we predicted since there are high demands about getting the privacy setting up and running. You can BLOCK people now on Zannel!
Today post is not about the privacy feature but instead, it is all about Zannel Widget. You can embed the Zannel Widget anywhere that coding are accepted such as your myspace page or your blogs and etc...The Zannel Widget is pretty cool I must say, and I am not saying this because I am a Zanneler, but it saves me time to upload pictures and videos to every social sites or blogs I belong to or have. I would just have to upload the pictures and videos to my Zannel channel, and my Zannel Widget will automatically update itself. For a preview to how the Zannel Widget looks like and how it works, go to http://humanitygreatestchallenge.blogspot.com/

RNDLive: the innis mode, finally realized

So here's the project: to create a matrix of windows that contain live video from around the planet (or even off-planet). The video will be environmental, observational, low key, discreet. Each window will be synchronized (by extracting IRIG or SMPTE timecode from GPS) with the others. The aggregate effect will be an illustration of concurrent natural processes, from which the viewers may (or may not!) infer something about interconnectedness.

Sound Mixer Needed for Short Film Shoot on Saturday

Categories: Help Production

I'm searching for a sound mixer to help me on a short film shooting this Saturday Sept 22. I have the gear already, just need someone who can operate. It's a basic set up: 2 wireless lavs, boom, 5 channel mixer hard-lined to camera.

We're shooting in Studio City, and not starting til about 1:00P on Saturday (all interior). Unfortunately this is a non-paying gig, but it's a great short and the crew is fantastic (but I am slightly biased).

If you have interest, please, PLEASE call me as soon as possible.

Thanks-

Kathleen

Tripfilms.com seeking filmmakers

Drew Baldwin
Posted

Dear Filmmakers,

Tripfilms.com is seeking talented filmmakers who love to travel to
join their team. Filmmakers who are part of the Tripfilms filmmaker
network make high-quality travel videos for us in their hometown and
wherever they go. These videos are authentic, informative, and
entertaining, and inspire viewers to travel to the destinations the
videos feature!

As a Tripfilms filmmaker, you can:
Make "Destination Basics" videos (for example: " Perfect Day", " Tips
and Tricks", "Where to Stay") in your hometown or another destination
you know well. These videos are usually hosted by a knowledgeable and
engaging "local host" who has a lot of insight to share.
Film the trips you take to share the adventures you encounter during
your travels.
When you have enough of a Tripfilms portfolio, get paid to film on
free trips!
To apply to be a Tripfilms filmmaker:
Shoot, edit, and deliver a 2-3 minute "test film," according to the
guidelines here: How to plan, shoot, and edit a successful travel video
The goal is to make an authentic film that is both informative and
inspiring. The film can be on any subject, as long as it brings a
destination to life in an interesting way.
If you follow our guidelines, we'll pay you $250 when you deliver the
first "test film." More importantly, we will hopefully be able to
then discuss working with you further to make more films from around
the world. We can afford to pay more when we assign you formal projects.
If you want to apply, please send a brief treatment about the test
film you'd like to make to: [email protected]. Please send any
questions you have to that email address as well.

Thanks,
Jamay Liu
Producer
