A alternative solution that seems to be rarely discussed is a paid account. I wouldn't want my youtube videos spoiled with advertisement - i'm already allergic to the banners on top of the pages, so i don't need any additional annoyance. If possible i'd prefer a paid account to get rid of all ads: A monthly fee of 3-5US$ is what i'd be willing to pay.
