Animated over a period of two weeks, "A Winter's Tale" was conceived as an experiment in short-form horror, using almost no dialogue. "The idea was to tell a story just by using pictures, little snapshots, to create an overall feeling of dread," says filmmaker Michael Granberry. The stop motion puppets created for the film were tiny in order to match the dollhouse furniture that was used in the film, and had to be animated with the head of a pin in some cases.

Several projects in various stages of development.
