Dear Britain, Connie Has Talent Too

Liz Miller
Posted June 13, 2007

After Britain's Got Talent's Paul Potts blew us away with "Nessum Dorma," we figured that Britain's talent pools were totally depleted. Oh, how nice it is to be proven wrong. Especially by a six-year-old named Connie, and the Judy Garland classic "Over The Rainbow."

I don't even LIKE this song, but I got a little teary. Whether little Conny has more in her than one verse and chorus of "Over the Rainbow" remains to be seen. But if at 6 she can melt Simon Cowell's heart, the rest of the entertainment industry shouldn't be hard to conquer.

Paul Potts certainly sang "Nessun Dorma" and hit the notes but he had an echo mike to help, I doubt he can perform much else and would have no future as a singer a[part from touring the clubs. I suggest you watch "Cardiff singer of the year" to here real singing
