Condoms v. AIDS: The Ultimate Throw-Down
Yes, condoms do beat AIDS. This video also beats all other PSA/safe sex videos.
Personally, I am excited about PSAs coming back in vogue, especially when they don't take themselves too seriously but still manage to get the point across. Everybody tunes out the second they see B-list TV Actor Guy look seriously at the camera and say "sex spreads AIDS" or "talk to your kids" something like that.
YR, the genius (if kind of evil) company that created this advertisement, stuck to an ideas-before-advertising approach. I couldn't look away from this PSA and, frankly I never thought I'd say this, I didn't want it to end. Yeah, I could watch a condom and an AIDS virus have any number of contests to decide who beats who... apparently I also have the humor level of 12 year old boy, but you know, with something like this you've gotta speak to the kids.
