Goodbye to the Normals

Filed Under:

This short film promoting Robbie Williams's new album gets four fluffy ducks out of five on the cute scale. Featuring one of the most genuine and interesting child actors I've seen in a long time, the creators make fantastic use of deadpan humor and classy British accents.

It's a great short, but I'm not quite sure what exactly this short is going to do in terms of promotion. Adorable is adorable, but will it lead to viral marketing success? Especially when the website just barely links back to Williams's page? I suppose it's a fresh approach to the music video option, and one I fully approve of -- I'd rather watch this little kid than Williams's skin flying off, any day.

This is 1 of 7 short films 'inspired by' Robbie Williams' album Rudebox.

See them all here...

I don't think viral marketing was the main goal with them.

As for his skin flying off, please review this vid again as a statment on celebrity & you will find it's brilliant!

Thanx for giving this talented artist some time on your site.
