Already a chart topper in England, the US release of Lily Allen’s debut album Alright, Still is just adding flame to her red-hot career. Publicly known for saying exactly what’s on her mind, Allen’s got a sort of brutal spunk that translates into her lyrics.
Alfie is the second single from her album and was written about her real-life little brother, Alfie. Instead of recruiting her little bro to play the part, Alfie features a foul-mouthed “twit” of a puppet that you can’t help but love. The music is fun and the story is entertaining, but I personally think the video is deranged and lacks commercialism. However, Allen does look damn cute in her signature empire-waist dress. How can you not love this girl!?

This is such a creative and entertaining video. The puppet is brilliant. Great example of how with very little money you can make a great video (not to say they didn't spend a lot of money on this).
