Barbara Boxer, Je t'aime
As a long-time resident of California, my love for Barbara Boxer is now the same age as a high school sophomore. Not once has it faded. Boxer is the kindest bad-ass on Capital Hill, always finding new ways to remind us of how fantastic she is. Like this Wednesday, when she smacked down Senator James Inhofe for trying to cut off Al Gore during his testimony on global warming.
Best part -- when she waves her gavel in Inhofe's face to remind him who's in charge. A lesser person would make a penis joke here. I am almost that lesser person. Oh, Babs. Even if Clinton wins in 2008, you will always be President of my heart.
