Madden 2007
Sure, it's the same damn game every year with updated rosters and slightly different graphics. Think that's going to stop anyone from buying it?
Well, it might stop Dallas Clark of the Indianapolis Colts. Apparently he's not too happy about a group full of frat boys heckling his video game double, who gets hammered in this commercial. But if you're not Dallas Clark, the game looks amazing. Generally, Madden is a rip-off year to year, but since this one is coming out on a new system, I can't say this won't be an incredible upgrade.
I remember back in 2000 when Madden came out for PS2 and it was nothing short of an amazing leap from its PSX predecessor. Madden '07 is sure to be a repeat on the new system from Sony with superior graphics and game play than that PS2.
Oh, and if anyone wants make a "Dallas Clark getting tackled highlight reel" using the game, please let me know.

Ronaldinho Goal
Generally, my opinion on soccer is that it needs to embrace change.
Make the field smaller, put boards around it, shrink the goals, give the players sticks and skates, turn the ball into a puck, and turn the grass into ice. It also wouldn't hurt if they had a clock that counted down instead of up and actually showed how much time was left.
This goal by Ronaldinho of Barcelona almost changes my opinion on the sport. The video of his bicycle kick features the skill and athleticism matching that of any athlete in any competition...except possibly Kobayashi of the competitive eating circuit who ate 97 hamburgers in 8 minutes.
It's also nice to see the rise of a soccer player that isn't more into fashion than his Spice Girl wife .

Yao Ming, 7'6", Gets Stuffed By Nate Robinson, 5'9"
You're probably thinking what I was thinking before I saw this video: Robinson stuffs a scoop shot, or gets Yao from behind on a fadeaway. Not so much. We're talking face-up jumper sent back from whence it came.
And you better believe the stock in Whatever Shoes Nate Wears is going to skyrocket almost as high as he did, because this guy soared.
In a feat almost as amazing as Spud Webb's dunk contest victory, Nate Robinson stuffs Yao, big time. But before you think this is some sort of a record, think again. According to Yao Ming as reported by espn.com, Yao says he has been "blocked by a 5-3 guy before..."

Only One Day Until Judgment Day: Michigan vs. Ohio State
"Judgment Day" -- that’s what ESPN and ABC are tagging the most
anticipated regular season college football game of this season, and
possibly all time. The undefeated Michigan Wolverines (ranked #2) take
on the also undefeated #1 Ohio State tomorrow .
Michigan vs.
Ohio State is arguably the greatest rivalry in not just college
football, but in all of sports. Their yearly battle is simply known as
“The Game,” and, if you haven’t learned from the ESPN commercial yet,
to see a Wolverine and a Buckeye share an affable relationship -- let
alone passionately kiss each other -- could make a diehard fan lose his
lunch.
I think it would be less awkward to see Rush Limbaugh and
Michael J. Fox cuddle at a stem cell rally than watch these two teams
butt heads. Well maybe not, but I’m still against “making-out with”
your rival and I think that bonds that exist between a Michigan fan and
an Ohio State fan will, without question, ultimately crumble after one
hostile quarter of “The Game.”
Tomorrow’s big game will be the
first time since 1987 that the two top-ranked teams in the nation have
battled for their conference title. It is unfortunate that this
historical match-up is not the National Championship game, as these two
teams are clearly the most dominant in all of college football. The
winner will earn the Big Ten Conference title along with a trip to the
National Championship game in Arizona on January 8th 2007.
