Rosie O'Donnell Leaves THE VIEW
Rumors have abounded for months now, but this morning made it official: O'Donnell's contract for appearing on The View will not be renewed for next season (the issue, apparently, being how many years Rosie would commit to spewing conspiracy theories). Barbara Walters's claim that they're broken up over Rosie leaving is a bit hard to buy -- everyone on that set looks a little bit relieved at the news, dreaming perhaps of a hopeful future where they're able to get a word in edgewise. In all honesty, the only people truly sad that this year-long car wreck is shuddering to an end are the bloggers who've been mocking Rosie since September. To paraphrase the Bible: Defamer wept.

All Your AMERICAN IDOL Needs: Met Here!
Are we the only people following this season of American Idol exclusively through YouTube? This week, Internet punching bag Sanjaya was voted off, much to the dismay of the pretty warbler's fans and much to the delight of everyone else. But in a more interesting twist, AI's attempt to milk the Virginia Tech tragedy totally backfired when cameras caught Simon eye-rolling during a shout-out to the victims. So many different clips to show! But we decided to show you Simon's apology for the gaff, which is surprisingly heartfelt. Even though what he's saying is that he didn't mean any disrespect towards the victims and their families; he just wasn't paying attention to the on-stage conversation. We'll let America judge whether that's any better.

SNL Goes Under 21
This video is not the internet's most popular SNL short -- it in fact barely cracks the Most Viewed page on YouTube. But featuring a satire about gun violence felt in poor taste after yesterday's tragedy at Virginia Tech. So instead, please enjoy this clever romp about underage drinking -- always good for a laugh.

Operation Kitten Calendar
Sure, anyone can do an Apprentice spoof -- in fact, nearly everyone has. But how do you take a cliched idea and make it awesome? Take a cue from VH1's Acceptable TV, and add adorable kittens.
This spot-on reality TV send-up features competing kitty photographers seeking to please the greatest kitty photographer of all time. "Robert James Bachman"'s terrifyingly bad Trump impersonation is somehow much funnier than any accurate parody could be. But even if bugs you, the short moves so fast that there's no time to bother caring about anything -- except kittens, that is.
Normally, the idea of being on reality TV makes me nauseous. But I would compete on this show. Just so I could get access to the kitten stable.
