Paul Potts Wows Again In Semi-Finals
When opera sensation (for real) Paul Potts advanced to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent, based on his tear-enducing performance of "Nessun Dorma," his future prospects depended on him living up to that gold standard. No worries, though: his rendition of "Time to Say Goodbye" during last night's semi-finals is just as flawless and heartfelt.
In case you were wondering, America, the winner of Britain's Got Talent not only wins a cash prize, but will also perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance. So if you ask any of us here at The Daily Reel, if anyone deserves the chance to show Her Majesty his stuff, it's this humble salesman from South Wales.
EDITED SUNDAY: Congratulations, Signore Potts, on your victory! Very well-deserved.
He is like a breath of fresh air, totally unassuming and has an amazing voice and God given talent!
I know he will be a Famous Opera Singer soon...
What a wonderful talent Paul has been blessed with. His story is an inspiration. I don't know if Paul really knows just how much he has touched people worldwide.
Thank you,

P.S. My wife and I will be at your concert when you come to Phoenix, Arizona.
I'm just a human being who scourers the world of the Internet, looking for Gems, such as the heroic and rare in humankind.
His name is Paul Potts, and even if you don’t care for Opera, or understand it, his is a name with a voice that is going to set your mind to love, your heart to sing, and your eyes to tears.
bel canto, translates to Beautiful Singing in Italian, but when it's more than that, and makes you want to jump up, and scream...Yes!! You realize you have just heard, something, that makes you want to grab it and hold tight, to express the only two real words that say it all...Well done! It's that most rare of things, a moment of birth, of a new life you can watch grow, and nurture, with a talent you can't match, but a soul you know.
Cheers from the USA
Ken
