Paul Potts Wins BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT
After Paul Potts reprised his stirring rendition of "Nessun Dorma" in Sunday night's final episode of Britain's Got Talent, host Ant (or Dec -- I get them confused) announced that all of Britian had gone "Paul Potts Potty." But you stand corrected, Mr. Dec (or Ant): it's the entire world that's watching.
Congratulations, Signore Potts, on your victory, which includes a record contract and live performance before the Queen. Bravissimo.
To ITV, Simon Cowell and BGT -- Thank You for bringing Paul to the World. Yes . . . we know you were after ratings. Methinks . . . you scored a coup on that. Cheers.
To: Paul & (Wife) Julie . . . Heartiest Congratulations. Yes . . . the World has gone Pottsy Crazy. We love Your story and will be following avidly . . . not only You, but this refreshed feeling about Opera. Please resist the efforts to "polish" you up. Your genuineness . . . is the appeal, Sir. (I do realize he will never see this. lol)
Opera is about telling a story and eliciting a response from the receiver. Paul DOES this with a wonderfully refreshing grace.
Not sure when . . . but I believe professional sports athletes . . . are allowed to compete in the previously "amateur" Olympics without anyone pulling them down.
Yes. Paul has "trained". Fortunately . . . we all did too, before we learned how to write.
Best of Luck before Her Majesty, Paul. Your story is Inspiring Mate!!
