Fox News Reports OJ Story & Book Cancelation
At the very moment I was sure that we as
a nation valued entertainment above "decency" (however you may define
that loaded word), the OJ book got canceled. Apparently the bosses at News Corp (which owns Fox and the publishing
company that intended to release the book) overestimated the lows to
which we will go for a thrill.
The Associated Press noted that though several books have been pulled for possible plagiarism, canceling a book because of its content is "virtually unheard of." Still, if Bill O'Reily and me can agree that something crosses a line, it must be out there...
