The Office Summer Vacation!
boingyboingyboingyboingy (that's me jumping up and down) It's almost back! It's almost back! Yaaaaaaaay!
A new season of The Office kicks off on September 27, and to whet our appetite, NBC has given us the latest glimpse into what our favorite characters did over the summer.
Look -- there's Michael! Hi, Michael! And Dwight! Hi, Dwight -- sorry about your infection! And Jim! And Kevin! And Creed! And Ange-- okay, I don't really like Angela, but she took a vacation with a "gentleman friend" and I'm intrigued despite myself. Plus, there's Pam, and she's letting her hair down. Whoo! You go, girl!
Ahem. Sorry. Got a little overexcited. You know why? 'Cause it's almost back! Yay! Yaaaaaay! boingyboingboingyboingy.

Battlestar Back Soon With "Razor"
I love science fiction, but let's be honest -- when it comes to quality writing and acting, the discerning fan's options are limited. Thankfully, Battlestar Galactica is around, raising the bar and raising the stakes with every episode.
After a stunning season finale this March, fans of the SciFi original series were dismayed to find out that their favorite post-apocalyptic space opera wouldn't be returning until January 2008. Turns out, though, that part of the reason for the long hiatus was "Razor," a two-hour original movie focusing on unexplored back story from Season 2 -- specifically, the crew of the Pegasus and how they survived the Cylon attack on the 12 Colonies.
If that last paragraph doesn't make any sense to you, then this preview is not for you. Despite introducing a new character and showing brief snippets of all your Battlestar favorites, this clip is light on content -- but full of action. And we only have to wait until... Wait, November? Oh, frak me.

"Bionic Woman" Sneak Preview
NBC announced its fall schedule this week, and yay! As those of us who prefer our TV heroines of the ass-kicking variety had hoped, the new "Bionic Woman" is in like artificially-enhanced Flynn. But don't be sad about the long, lonely summer before you get your Jaime Sommers (sorry), because NBC has a buttload of preview footage. If you had any doubts about whether Michelle Ryan -- fresh off of "Eastenders" and a TV adapatation of "Mansfield Park," of all things -- could pull off hardcore action, these clips should set your mind at ease. SPOILER ALERT: This video also reveals the identity of Jaime's first superpowered sparring partner, so if you don't want that ruined, stay away. But be tempted to peek, fellow sci-fi geeks, because it's someone good.
