SNL Goes Under 21
This video is not the internet's most popular SNL short -- it in fact barely cracks the Most Viewed page on YouTube. But featuring a satire about gun violence felt in poor taste after yesterday's tragedy at Virginia Tech. So instead, please enjoy this clever romp about underage drinking -- always good for a laugh.

Peyton Manning Reaches Out To America's Youth
You never know which Mondays are going to be SNL Mondays. The quality of the guest host or musical guest is sometimes a factor, but more often than not the elements that lead to NBC dominating the YouTube Most Viewed page are pretty random.
Today is definitely an SNL Monday, and my best guess as to why Peyton Manning's comedy hijinks are so popular is that the Super Bowl MVP Ubergod seems more than willing to spoof his public image. (Oh, and it's been a few weeks since the last new epsiode.)
Take this United Way spoof, which is the funniest thing I've seen in days. Not that I'm into child abuse -- it's just that children suffering physical and verbal assault is hilarious. When Peyton Manning teaches you about life, the lessons are scary indeed.

SNL: The Dakota Fanning Show
We can't really think of a more precocious child than 11-year-old Dakota Fanning, who's so articulate and charming that she's... kinda creepy. The kid moves around without a trace of the insecurity or awkwardness that plague her peers, like a comfortable adult with a happy marriage, two kids and a paid-off mortgage under her belt.
Amy Poehler takes it up a notch by portraying Fanning as a literary name-dropping talk show host, spewing opinions about Michiko Kakatani and Thomas Pynchon like most kids rattle off thoughts about Harry Potter ("I'm not familiar," cracks Poehler.) Drew Barrymore joins in as the ebullient Abigail Breslin who actually, you know, acts her age.
We can only imagine the real-life Fanning's reaction to this snarky depiction of her sophistication -- a totally poised and gracious "thank you!"

Jake Gyllenhaal In Drag on SNL
Nothing like dressing up in drag and belting the signature tune from Dreamgirls to dispel those gay rumors -- good work Jakey! The ambiguously straight actor has dealt with rumors about his sexuality since day one. From Matthew McConaughey (cycling buddy or lover?) to Natalie Portman (friendly beard?), Jake's nearest and dearest apparently don't hold a candle to Jennifer Hudson.

Justin Timberlake Battles Santa on SNL
This weekend, Timberlake hosted SNL, and it was actually entertaining. I will admit I have always thought that Timberlake took himself a little too seriously. Maybe it was because he was the lead singer of a hot-to-trot boy band or because he got REALLY mad that time he was Punk'd, but Timberlake always seemed a little self-involved and just... not funny.
Apparently, I might have been a little harsh, 'cause the boy's got some skills. Timberlake's hosting duties this Saturday included battling Santa for charitable donations while dressed as a giant Cup of Noodle, digging up some early 90’s raps like Salt 'N Pepa’s "Shoop" in order to do so. After Timberlake dressed up as a dolphin during a Flaming Lips concert, it's clear that the public doesn’t mind the pop star covering up that hot bod is a big plushie suit. But while he man-dressed-like-soup shock value is definitely worth your time, that's not the only reason to watch. Turns out that Timberlake is actually kind of funny.
