24 Season 7: Kiefer Sutherland Has Yet More Torturing to Do
It's tempting to write this post as a series of random Jack Bauer facts (which are funnier than I could ever manage). But why bother? This trailer for the new season of 24, so kindly and gently introduced by Kiefer Sutherland, does all the work for you. Jack Bauer does not negotiate. Jack Bauer does not regret. Jack Bauer's gonna torture a bitch. And Jack Bauer is gonna enjoy it.

Futurama: Bender's Big Score
Futurama's return from the grave has been something so long in the works that I'd forgotten it was happening. But the (self-professed) new morons at Fox have finally released a nice juicy trailer for the feature-length DVD adventure Bender's Big Score. While short on any sort of plot details, this clip does feature the elements that made Futurama great -- sci-fi parody, barely concealed nudity, and killer robots. I wasn't excited at first. But then a strangely hypnotic frog changed my mind.

Battlestar Back Soon With "Razor"
I love science fiction, but let's be honest -- when it comes to quality writing and acting, the discerning fan's options are limited. Thankfully, Battlestar Galactica is around, raising the bar and raising the stakes with every episode.
After a stunning season finale this March, fans of the SciFi original series were dismayed to find out that their favorite post-apocalyptic space opera wouldn't be returning until January 2008. Turns out, though, that part of the reason for the long hiatus was "Razor," a two-hour original movie focusing on unexplored back story from Season 2 -- specifically, the crew of the Pegasus and how they survived the Cylon attack on the 12 Colonies.
If that last paragraph doesn't make any sense to you, then this preview is not for you. Despite introducing a new character and showing brief snippets of all your Battlestar favorites, this clip is light on content -- but full of action. And we only have to wait until... Wait, November? Oh, frak me.

Sarah Connor Chronicles Busts Out
That's right -- the action franchise of our childhoods will be back next season. Set between the events of Terminator 2 and Terminator 3, The Sarah Conner Chronicles follows John and (duh) Sarah Connor as they try to prevent Armageddon, avoid death by futuristic goverment machines, and have some semblance of a normal life. (Good luck with that last one, Connors.) Sure, the dialogue in this trailer seems a little heavy-handed, but the effects look awesome, the action impressive, and more importantly, they have (SPOILER ALERT) Summer Glau as a robot! And she says "Come with me if you want to live!" And she throws a car through the air ... naked! So if all that doesn't please you, I don't know what you want.
