Charlie Gruet’s experience as a DP for commercials, and documentaries, has created a unique, visual style that blends eye-catching imagery with intimate and emotional content. Charlie was the Producer and DP of the festival favorite, “Confessions of a Superhero” – a documentary exploring the obsession, allure, and daily struggle of the pursuit of fame in Hollywood. He lensed the critically acclaimed PBS documentary, “The Self Made Man,” a highly emotional, and timely, film about a person’s difficult end-of-life choices. “The Self Made Man” was later nominated for an EMMY. |
