Georgie's Wish
Hilarious and disturbing at the same time, Michael Granberry's (A Winter's Tale) claymation horror-comedy is a remarkable answer to the common prayer of having a loved one return. It's the macabre cartoon answer to Almodovar's "Volver."
Be careful what you wish for!

Designed, built, and animated in the insane time-span of one week, "Georgie's Wish" came about as filmmaker Michael Granberry was reading an interview with filmmaker George A. Romero, creator of the legendary "Night of the Living Dead" series. "I've always been a fan of his work, and wanted to pay homage to him somehow thru one of my films. Suddenly, the idea was just there. I didn't even script it, just did some basic storyboards to see if the idea would flow as a film, and started shooting on faith that it would work. It was an absolute blast to do."
Several projects in various stages of development.
