Winner of Seattle’s 48-hour film festival, this short seems too well conceive and expertly adapted to have been completed in such a short time. Visually reminiscent of the feature film Amelie, "Manquer" compares life's unattainable expectations with the uncompromised innocence of a young boy.

I am really impressed by this piece. The vivid colors and the slow but emotional storyline are thoughtful and well-animated. It's definitely, very Amelie. But I love that movie, so all the power to you.
